Joe Martins and Carlos Mazo from the MBA class of 2010 started in June 2010 a revolutionary outdoor advertising company focused on advertising in Billboards that “move” and “talk”. The startup, named Zwanzie, differentiates by integrating the offline and online world of advertising. Through car-wraps in privately owned cars, they offer their customers an impactful media with the lowest possible CPM, controlling its cars with GPS technology to guarantee control and traceability over the number of impressions and driving quality in real time. Additionally, Zwanzie makes its Billboards “talk” by training the drivers to become brand ambassadors and extending the brand’s message in the offline and the online world. This fall they launched the site www.zwanzie.com and among their future plans is the addition of Seattle to their current operations in Boston and Miami.
