Babson's Tom Davenport Honored with 2008 CIMS IT Achievement Award

Babson's Center for Information Management Studies (CIMS) recently held a workshop for Boston area Information Technology professionals on IT/Business Alignment and the Role of Soft Skills. The morning began with the presentation of the 2008 CIMS IT Achievement Award to Thomas H. Davenport, President's Chair in IT and Management at Babson where he also leads the Process Management and Working Knowledge Research Centers. CIMS Director, Kavin W. Moody, acknowledged Davenport for “his outstanding contributions to the field of information technology, his assistance to the education community, and his commitment to broadening a network for IT professionals”.
