Ask A Librarian

If you find you need help finding books/information, trying to figure out where to start your research, or anything else, Ask a Librarian! Here are the different ways you can contact a Librarian:

  • Sign up for a research consultation at Information Desk 1 (or by calling x4596);
  • Call the Information Desk at 781-239-4596;
  • Fill out the Ask a Question form on the web site;
  • Email reference@babson.edu.

If the library is closed, or you’d rather try some stuff yourself first, our web site is also packed with guides & tutorials to help you…though we know they’re not always easy to find. (We’re working on fixing that…feedback is welcome!) The best places to start:

  • Research Guides – find guides for various subjects as well as specific classes;
  • Find Information On – find quick lists of the best places to start researching countries, industries, companies, finance related topics, history related topics, and a *lot* more;
  • Quick Tutorials – watch these 2-3 minute clips to help you get started using a database or starting research.

Quick Tip: Use the search box at the top of the page to find library related pages. Just add the word “library” to your search. For example, if I want a page on finding competitors I’d type in “competitors and library”.
