100+ Business partners to visit Babson in September and October; Get Ready with CCD
The seasons are rapidly changing, and the Undergraduate Center for Career Development is in full go mode for our fall recruiting marathon.
This is the time of year when more than 100 of our business partners visit campus to meet our talented students, provide career insight and guidance, as well as recruit for internships and full time hires for June 2018. So what’s on the agenda for students in September and October?
First and foremost we want our students to be prepared and equipped with the tools they need to successfully navigate this career journey. From Bootcamp to Resumania, we partner with business professionals, including our alumni, to assist our students in honing the fundamentals of being an outstanding candidate; your brand story, building connections, utilizing resources, networking, resume and cover letter techniques, interviewing skills and follow up, that includes a personal thank you.
Now that they are ready, it’s getting in the fast lane; meeting, networking and interviewing with company representatives from a wide array of industries and functions; Industry Spotlights, US Job Search Strategy, Mock interviews, Alumni Industry Advisors, Career 101, career conversations and our signature fall career fair, EXPO – next week on Wednesday, September 20th, where 65+ employers from a variety of industries will be on campus to meet Babson’s undergraduate talent.
Our process is intentionally customized and personal, while simultaneously meeting our “digital natives” (students) need for quick, easy, visual engagement to connect with employers, job opportunities, resources and the Undergraduate Center for Career Development.
Encourage your students to seek us out… We are popping up all over campus this fall, to meet our students where they are. We are always available to students 5 days a week for drop-in “Quick Checks” and 30-minute advising appointments in the CCD office in Hollister 106. We are excited to partner with our students from day 1 to provide the tools and resources they need to successfully manage their career journey.
