Last week, we welcomed our third cohort of undergraduate students in San Francisco! The program kicked off with a week of orientation where students learned about the Bay Area Tech landscape, had lunch by the Bay Bridge, enjoyed artisan food and coffee from the Ferry Building, and bonded with faculty, staff, and peers.

On day two, students heard from undergraduate Center for Career Development about connecting their San Francisco experience with their future career goals. In the afternoon, the students ate sundaes at Ghirardelli Square, a historic San Francisco attraction, and witnessed spectacular views of the city during the Big Bus Night Tour.

The following day, students took a tour of Autodesk Gallery and examined how design shapes the world around us. Afterward, the students participated in a Rocket Pitch for their Silicon Tech Ventures class and explored the city through a Photo Scavenger Hunt. Their final destination was Off the Grid, a beloved SF food truck extravaganza accompanied by live music.
