Fall into Championships
It is hard to believe November 1st is just around the corner! Leaves are falling and the air is getting a bit crisper with fall really taking its place at Babson. With fall also comes championship season for Babson Athletics. This year has been quite impressive for our athletics program, with volleyball securing the NEWMAC (New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference) regular season title. The women’s tennis team had an exciting comeback win to beat top ranked MIT in the NEWMAC championship. The men’s golf team has also had a strong fall, finishing second at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship and winning the New England Collegiate Conference Championship. Some other fall sports are entering their post season action in November, including the men’s and women’s soccer teams who start the conference championship next week. Field hockey will also be entering post season action next week with the NEWMAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday. This Saturday cross country will be traveling to Smith for the NEWMAC Championship. It will be a busy week for Babson Athletics! Best of luck to all teams!
