Pathways to The Lewis Institute

One of the most common questions we get here at The Lewis Institute is, “How can we connect with you?” As a team of people who thrive on fostering strong, lasting connections and see the world as relational rather than transactional, nothing could make us happier. We know that the most powerful thing any social innovator can cultivate is a community of like-minded, passionate individuals.

We see first hand through the conversations we have and the habitats we’ve helped build, that many in the Babson community share an underlying belief in the power of business to effect positive change as well as a desire to find their role within that movement. To support in the building of pathways that advance your work as a social innovator, here are a few ways to connect with us and the community of changemakers growing so strongly here at Babson:

  1. Sign up for our Monthly Newsletter

A super easy way to stay connected with the work we’re doing here, the changemaker mindset and upcoming events. You can sign up for this right on our homepage or opt in on the sign-in sheet at any Good Business Friday.

  1. Attend Good Business Fridays

Join us every Friday between Noon and 1:30pm in the Reynolds Global Lounge for open and casual discussions about creating and maintaining a business in today’s world. Come when you can, there is no such thing as late!

  1. Interested in Food Entrepreneurship? Attend Community Table

Food Sol Community Table meets Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. For eaters and entrepreneurs, Community Table is a consistent habitat to share generative conversation and accelerate great ideas.

  1. Join the Undergraduate or Graduate Net Impact Chapters

Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. The Babson chapter of Net Impact has been active for seven years and continues to grow.

As Cheryl Kiser our Executive Director says, “Change isn’t a spectator sport – it requires action.” Join us for any of these action-oriented activities, say hello, and introduce yourself. We look forward to seeing you!
