Dealing with Uncertainty

This week we have discussed a lot about the current economic and health crises. We talked about how similar it is to previous crises, and how some countries reacted in the very same way- especially Brazil. With all of this discussion, the most interesting part is how it can be applied to our personal lives and how we deal with uncertain times. Several students had their internship canceled this summer, and while it can be extremely disappointing, it is also the best time to work on things you wanted and did not have time in the past because of rigor academic and professional commitments. I have been re-thinking the concept of success, and the more I analyze it the more interesting similarities I have been finding in people who have seemingly reached it in different industries. Whether in a global or personal environment, dealing with uncertainty in critical times is something we all can improve on.
