Is there vacation after an internship?
I really enjoyed my internship. I learned a lot and had great experiences. However, everyone needs a break sometimes. For me, I came straight from finals to my hometown. One week of family and then work. One week is not enough and at some points I felt extremely exhausted. I did not have any serious vacation after school, and my internship, of course, did not help with this situation.
After all, it is over. My internship is behind and, in the two weeks I have left, I could work on a project, take a course or even study. Nevertheless, I would rather not. My semester at Babson will be tough, and I will need my head working very well. I finish this post with an advice: everyone needs some rest. Do not try to be productive during the whole summer. Rest, sleep, travel are essential things for a good semester back to school.
