Day One Internship
On the first day of my internship, my boss sat me down and talked to me about my aspirations and hobbies. I really appreciated this because it showed me that she cared about the advancement of her company as well as my individual advancement. This made working with her so much more comfortable for me. I was actually very surprised because I felt like I would end up hating any internship that I tried. The fact that she tried to get to know me made it easier for me to transition into her company. I actually care about the well being of the company.
