Choosing Babson

Bianca Tomassini2Happy April! This month is a hectic one in the admission office as we prepare to welcome the Class of 2019 to our admitted student events. Many students are still weighing their options as they decide where to enroll next year. For others, however, they know that Babson is the place for them and can’t see themselves anywhere else. Bianca Tomassini is one of these students. Bianca is currently a senior at Hamden Hall Country Day School in Connecticut and she was our first official Regular Decision admitted student to enroll at Babson! In the spirit of our current fellows’ blogs about their paths to Babson, I asked Bianca how she would answer the question “Why Babson?” Here is why she chose to be a member of our Centennial Class of 2019:

Ever since the first time I visited Babson, I was immediately welcomed by everyone in the community. It was almost as if I had been attending school at this college for a few years. The warm feeling I felt from the people I was surrounded by was just the icing on the cake for my experience at Babson. I learned that Babson is truly a one of kind school.

I found the FME program to be extremely unique and effective. Babson allows you to learn in the classroom setting and gives you the tools that can make you successful in the outside world. Students are able to grow from their own experiences provided by the school. After leaving from my overnight visit, I knew Babson was the place I belonged and I knew I would not want to spend the next four years anywhere else.

We are thrilled to welcome Bianca and all of her classmates to campus over the next few weeks and hopefully we will see you all in the fall!
