Thanksgiving at the Dean’s House
Going home for the holidays is great, but sometimes you just can’t (especially when you are living on a college student’s budget!). This Thanksgiving break I decided to stay on campus in order to save a little money for my winter break vacation (a post on that coming to you soon!). Luckily, I didn’t have to spend Thanksgiving Day in my room because Dean Scott Moore invited anyone on campus to his house for dinner.
Having grown up in a Mexican household, I had never experienced an “American” Thanksgiving dinner. This was my first time having turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry-apple crumble, rolls, oh, and let’s not forget the football. I am so glad we have such loving and caring members at Babson that would open their homes to students left on campus. We were few, but we stuck together. This was a great last Thanksgiving break at Babson. Thank you, Dean Moore!
I had a great time with @babsoncollegeUG students at #ThxgivingWithTheDean. Great conversation & good food! Thanks! pic.twitter.com/2NZF2dbUCM
