Your Words, Your Life – Writing the College Essay
It’s that time of year again – back on the road visiting with students from all across the country and all around the globe. While I’m only in my second week of travel (and don’t actually make it back to campus for almost a full month!), I’m already finding that students are eager to talk about what Babson looks for within our essay submissions. While we are always happy to engage in conversation surrounding both Personal Statements and Babson’s Writing Supplement, this summer our staff collaborated to produce a web page dedicated to this hot topic of discussion. Effective communication is critical in business and our staff is looking for evidence of your writing skills from the very beginning, within your application to Babson.
Now I’m not going to tell you what to do… but if I were you… I’d make sure to check out Babson’s new web page dedicated to Writing the College Essay as you begin to think about your application to Babson. The staff has selected previous examples of both the Personal Statements and Babson’s Writing Supplement that we consider strong examples of effective communication.
