For Students, By Students: Senior-Led Seminars

Now into the third week of classes, students are already back in the swing of things, fully rested from a relaxing winter break! After talking with students about their upcoming courses for this semester, I learned about a unique opportunity offered every spring known as Senior-Led Seminars.

Classes taught for students, by students? Exactly.

Made possible by a generous gift of the Donald W. White Sr. ’50 Family, Babson now offers five classes each Spring Semester taught entirely by students in their senior year. The classes are on topics that hold special meaning with their instructors, and range from marketing in the fashion industry to mobile app development. By sharing their passion with their peers, the seniors are able to teach topics that aren’t currently offered in the standard undergraduate curriculum. These classes are very popular among fellow students whose desire for knowledge extends beyond the typical course load. Take a peek at the Spring 2014 offerings below and be sure to check out the link for full class descriptions!
