Undergraduate Blog / Defining Your Babson

A Sweet Return

What a great feeling it is to be back at Babson! The last nine months have been an adventure, to say the least! As you may remember, I was lucky to spent five wonderful months during my spring semester, studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. I will reminisce more about my study abroad experiences in my upcoming blogs. Following my return to the United States, I interned at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Boston office. I had an incredible experience and received exposure to client work that I never thought an intern would be trusted with. I also had the opportunity to go to Belize and perform volunteer work, teaching financial literacy to elementary school students.

While I enjoyed tasting the “real-world” this summer, I am not ready to leave Babson! Now, I am beginning my senior year and am in great denial. Babson has become my home. Though I am positive that I will be embarking on adventure and opportunity-rich experiences after Babson, I am sacred to accept the fact that in seven and a half months, I will be moving on with life. These next months I am just going to focus on the here and the now, and enjoy all of my “lasts” that come with senior year!
