First Meeting, Second Project
For my next project, I met with my boss to discuss what lay in store for RVN in the near future. RVN is inspired by the Lower East Side in the ’80s, so the idea was to do wheat pasting all over the area. Wheat pasting essentially entails taking images and literally pasting them on buildings. We found which buildings we could paste on and then mapped out when to implement the plan, based on how long it would take to get the pictures made. We met with the person who was creating the images and made the plans with him to figure out which streets would be best for this project.
