Undergraduate Blog / Defining Your Babson

Must it pass so quickly?

Hey guys,

My name is Asa Cary, and I am junior here at Babson College. This is my first blog, and I hope you guys find them semi-informative and entertaining.

So this is me….

I went to a formal with a good friend of mine.

I’m the one on the left. The one to the right is Salina, a good friend of mine who is currently abroad and we were at her sorority formal last year.

ANYWAYS!
So its Junior Year. How the heck did I get here?

Well for starters, I am from Baltimore, MD. I have no pets. One monkey younger sibling (does that count as a pet?). And a whole lot of plans bouncing around my brain.

I attended a performing arts high school where I focused on Stage Production (lights, sounds, set, etc.) I have continued to maintain my skills here at Babson by working in the Sorenson Theater.

Since my freshman year, I moved up in rankings both grade-wise and within organizations. I am currently the President for Origins of Necessary Equality (O.N.E.) and it is my heart and soul. I love the people who are part of it and they make me pull my hair out, but we work hard to make an impact on campus. When I am not running my organization, I am practicing for the Babson Dance Ensemble (4 dances this semester), I am extremely nervous to get on stage. I also work as a technician for the Babson Players, our theater group on campus.

With all that, plus working in the Admissions office, this semester has kind of shot by in a flash… good thing I have at least another month left.

Hmmm… we’ll just have to see what else time brings me. Hopefully more pictures for you guys!
