Undergraduate Blog / First Year at Babson

A Busy Month

It’s already been five  weeks since the New Student Orientation, and it has been quite a stretch for the Babson Class of 2014.  So many events have taken place such as the 80’s themed Knight Party, the Organizational Carnival, the FME Kickoff event (with the dynamic Doug Hall) and the FME Rocket Pitches. I would like to give a big shout out to the Peer Mentors for the Class of 2014, as they continue to do a fantastic job with their students. The new students had an awesome time during Orientation at the Boston Harbor Cruise, Playfair, Laser tag among other exciting events.

The fun is just the beginning for the Class of 2014. There are many exciting events coming up these couple of weeks with Family and Friends Weekend coming up soon. Right now, we are in the process of recruiting students to run for the Class of 2014 steering committee. It’ll be great to see what the Steering Committee will do this year for their Class. In addition, we are gathering names for the fortunate students who will attend our First Year/Senior Retreat in November. It’s a great opportunity for First Years to network with upperclassmen.

There is more to come for the Class of 2014 – stay tuned.
