Spring Semester Brings Excitement

The Spring 2010 semester will begin in a few short weeks and at Babson it is always exciting for first year students.

The FME program launches sixteen new businesses. This is a unique experience on a college campus and the students are really energized about all the possibilities that lie ahead. Equally important, the students will be contributing their time and talents to many local community service agencies. Some of the products that are emerging this semester are caffeinated gum, laundry bags, flash drives, ionizers,  just to name a few.

Additional upcoming events I am looking forward to:

· Our first year student bloggers who will help chronicle their experiences this semester as well. I am certain they will bring  unique insight to the Babson first year experience.

· January Orientation- Babson welcomes new students and exchange students on January 18-19th 2010, it is nice to greet a new group of eager Babson students to campus.

· The start of classes on January 20th 2010 – it is great to have all the returning first year students back to campus- they are no long nervous about adjusting to college, they are just ready to tackle another semester.

· FME Business Fair – February 8th 2010 Knight Auditorium – The official kickoff to the FME businesses for 2010, all 16 businesses are represented so the community can see what it the students have in store.

Of course, this is just a small sample of what is happening at Babson, spring semester on a college campus is always amazing – Babson is no exception; visit our blog periodically so to get the latest information.
