Finishing the Semester
I’m back from break and my suite fridge is full! My roommates obviously had the same idea I did when they went grocery shopping in their parents refrigerator and brought back their thanksgiving dinners as I did. Nothing like having homecooking at your fingertips for a week or so.
The week off was amazing! I got to sleep in a bit as well as getting some work done without feeling the anxiety and stress of deadlines and class assignments. But we’re back now and its time to bury my head in the books for the last three weeks. I’ve got lots of work to do and exams to prepare for over the next few weeks and then I can really relax. It will be very nice to have a vacation where I don’t have to think about whats due and when I have to go to work, I won’t have to worry about waking up for class or fitting in group meetings. I welcome what all faculty believe to be too long of a break for us. But I will defend my month, as its my last one before entering into the work world!!
