Spring Break at Babson

Spring Break has arrived at Babson and the campus has quieted down considerably.  Our students are participating in any number of interesting activities during this mid-semester break. These activities include: participating in Habitat for Humanity projects in Louisiana and El Salvador, playing a varsity sport in various locations such as Florida and Puerto Rico, and visiting South America with Dean Hanno and other undergraduate students to study the regional economies.

Students have also gone home to reconnect with families or traveled to traditional Spring break locations in Mexico and Florida.  One student even traveled to Japan for the week.  For those of us back on campus, we are busy getting ready for a busy second half of the semester.  This includes fall 2009 course registration, the play Bat Boy from the Babson Players, the spring AMAN performance, Basically Babson (welcome class of 2013!), BDE’s spring show, Spring weekend, FME final reports to the community, senior week, commencement…. just to name a few.

The last half of the spring semester always goes by really fast; it is nice to have spring break to gear up for the fun!
