Habitat’s Alternative Spring Break trip to El Salvador
I am excited to be blogging on behalf of the other staff, faculty and students during our Habitat for Humanity Spring Break trip. Our trip hasn’t even started yet (we leave tomorrow), but all signs are looking good for the trip to be a GREAT one. Everyone has their passports and supporting materials, the weather forecast does NOT include any signs of snow during our scheduled travel hours tomorrow (YAY!) and we were all treated to a delicious dinner and great conversation tonight at the home of one the staff members going with us (Thanks, Bredas)!
Our first challeng may be the 6:30 AM meeting time at Public Safety… everyone, please set your alarm clocks! But if all continues to go this well, by this time tomorrow night we (11 undergaduate students, and 5 staff and family members) will have reached our destination in El Salvador. Stay tuned!
