What's Next?
I’ve received a couple of inquiries as to, “What’s Next?” On campus interviews generally run up until Thanksgiving break and we tend not to host interviews again until the spring semester. However, unlike the fall semester, on campus interviews pick right back up once you arrive on campus in January. So what does this mean?
Soon we will start posting jobs for spring interviews. Some of these jobs may even have application deadlines that occur over the winter break! So what can you do? Stay diligent! Keep checking Career Connections for new job postings. Set up a saved search agent to send new jobs directly to your inbox. Remember, Career Connections should be one of many job search tools that you are using. Check out Monster, Career Builder, Indeed, and Simply Hired. Go straight to company websites. Network! Talk to your friends, family members, and professors. Tell them about what types of jobs you are looking for and ask if they know anyone in related fields.
Use every tool at your disposal. There are plenty of jobs out there. Unfortunately, jobs don’t grow on trees. You’ve just got to look for them.
