Educational, Spiritual, and Wonderful Experience
It has been an amazing opportunity to help build homes for people in need. This trip has been educational, spiritual, and a wonderful bonding experience with people I might have never thought to befriend. I have learned more about poverty, privilege, and gratitude by interacting and communicating with the homeowners, supervisors, and volunteers. I’ve enjoyed getting to know my team members; they are all unique and kind individuals. My favorite moment so far is collectively bonding with everyone and learning about their family and aspirations.
