Babson College Marketing Recognized by CASE for Excellence in Earned Media and Publicity Campaign: Babson College Announces Expansion to Miami
Babson College Marketing has received 2018 CASE District I Excellence Awards silver medal for the earned media and publicity campaign: Babson College Announces Expansion to Miami.
This July 2017, Massachusetts-based Babson College announced an expansion of its graduate programs to Miami, Florida. To help propel news of the expansion, Babson College Marketing and Public Relations teams worked together to map out a strategic announcement plan.
The strategic plan involved a ribbon cutting ceremony in Miami, lead by President Kerry Healey and other college leadership, and was attended by local media and stakeholders. Other components of the plan involved extensive media outreach to national and Latin American media, securing an exclusive with the Miami Herald and coverage with many other outlets.
Babson team members recognized on the award include: Kelly Lynch, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff, Andrew Tiedemann, Managing Director, Marketing, Michael Chmura, Director, Public Relations, Vanessa Theoharis, Associate Director, Integrated Content Strategy, James Regal, Associate Director, Multimedia and Interactive, Brianna Radicioni, Manager, Public Relations, Shannon Sweeny, Specialist, Public Relations.
