Crossroads Cafe at Babson’s Reynolds Campus Center Becomes 2 Star Certified Green Restaurant®
Crossroads Cafe at the Babson College Donald W. Reynolds Campus Center has been certified as a 2 Star Certified Green Restaurant® by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a national nonprofit organization helping restaurants to become more environmentally sustainable. Crossroads Cafe received 147.25 GreenPoints™ on the GRA’s rigorous certification scale and implemented 35 environmental steps. 
Highlights of Green Accomplishments:
- Comprehensive recycling and composting program, which can divert up to 90% of waste from the landfill
- Energy Star equipment, which is 30-40% more efficient than traditional models
- High efficiency faucet aerators, which help to save energy and water
- Cup sleeves, napkins, office paper, and paper bags are made with materials recovered from curbside recycling bins
