Sweet Success – Lemonade Day Boston 2015

Over 4,000 local youth participated in Lemonade Day Boston 2015 – its strongest showing to date!

Children from local community centers, elementary and middle schools, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, Bright Horizon chapters, and more, joined the Babson community throughout the spring semester and on Lemonade Day on May 2 to learn what it takes to develop, launch, and run a successful business.

“Our Big and Little Sisters loved Lemonade Day,” said Jessica Burday, Program Events Specialist at the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. “Thank you very much for offering our community such a wonderful opportunity. We’re excited to do it again next year!”

About Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day is a part of Prepared 4 Life, a nonprofit that provides fun, proactive and experiential programs infused with life skills, character education and entrepreneurship. Lemonade Day was born in Houston in 2007, and was inspired by the lessons local entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael Holthouse taught his young daughter and her friend when they set up a lemonade stand. Since then it has grown to a nationwide program, operating in over 40 cities and engaging nearly 250,000 youth.
