Qu: Where do a groceries-to-go service company, a custom postcard maker, and a human-sized iPod gather under one roof?

Answer: at the Babson 2007 FME Business Fair in Knight Auditorium!

Yesterday afternoon (February 7th), 15 new businesses created and run by first-year students who are required to participate in the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course, displayed their products and services in Knight Auditorium.

A steady stream of people oohing and aahing at the displays helped create a marketing buzz worth its weight in gold to these student entrepreneurs.

At the end of the academic year, after paying their loans and bills, profits are donated to local charities that they select. Since 1999, over $250,000 has been sent to charities for medical research, local food banks, homeless shelters, Boys & Girls Clubs, elderly services, Special Olympics, and many others.

Check them out on their websites and around campus. Support their hard work and great ideas!

Below are pictures of a few of the businesses and their on-duty student executives.
