During winter break a group representing Babson Global Outreach through Entrepreneurship (BGOE) opted to travel to Uganda rather than enjoy the comforts of a holiday at home.

The students worked and lived at two different sites; half in Kampala, the capital, and half worked in Mityana, about thirty miles to the west of Kampala. Their projects included working with the business of transportation, Full Belly Project, local peanut growers to improve their production for market, an affordable housing initiative, and two microfinance companies.

The travelers are home now, but you can get a taste of their experience first-hand by reading the blog at: http://www.bgoe07.blogspot.com/.
