Professor Dhruv Grewal Recognized as Outstanding Area Editor of the Year by Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS)

Babson Marketing Professor Dhruv Grewal has been recognized by the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS) as an Outstanding Area Editor of the Year. Three of the JAMS Area Editors have been chosen out of the seventeen member team for this award. Professor Grewal received the award at the Academy of Marketing and Science Annual Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on May 18, 2016.

The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS) is devoted to the study and improvement of marketing and serves as a vital link between scholarly research and practice by publishing research-based articles in the substantive domain of marketing.

Dhruv Grewal

Dhruv Grewal (Ph.D. Virginia Tech) is the Toyota Chair in Commerce and Electronic Business and a Professor of Marketing at Babson College. His research and teaching interests focus on direct marketing/e-business, retailing, global marketing, pricing and value-based marketing strategies. He was ranked 1st in the marketing field in terms of publications in the top-six marketing journals during the 1991-1998 period and again for the 2000-2007 period.

He has published over 100 articles in journals such as Journal of Retailing, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, as well as other journals. He currently serves on numerous editorial review boards, such as Journal of Retailing, Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Public Policy & Marketing.
