Dean Lamb Welcomes New Graduate Students in India and Thailand

Will Lamb with Graduate StudentsMy colleague, Kathy Smith, who plans many of our events on campus and around the globe, reports back on Dean Lamb’s recent events below.

En route to this weekend’s Babson Connect Worldwide 2017 in Bangkok, Will Lamb, Dean of the F.W. Olin School of Business, stopped for a few dinners.  He wasn’t just sampling the delicious cuisine of India and Thailand – he was dining with some of Babson’s newest graduate students.  Recently admitted to the MBA, Master of Science in Finance, and Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership programs, the new students joined Dean Lamb and local alumni in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Bangkok for special events to welcome them to the Babson Community.

If the dinners are any indication, these new students are going to fit in just perfectly at Babson! All were excited to meet their new classmates and learn more about their programs, the community, and each other. Some travelled far distances, flying to Mumbai from Calcutta and Hyderabad. In each city, Dean Lamb told us that the conversation was quickly flowing and students were sounding like old friends shortly after meeting – chatting, exchanging business cards, and making plans to become roommates. It was a very Babson experience!

We look forward to seeing them all on Campus!
