Graduate CCD Social Media Contest — Like Us on Facebook & Twitter!

Facebook LogoHello Graduate Students!   Hope you’ve had an enjoyable summer.  We not only welcome all the new students who have joined us this week, but also look forward to seeing our returning students.  We already have a number of interesting, fun, and informative events planned for the fall, so it promises to be another busy academic year.

In order to keep you “in the know,” we invite you to follow us on social media!  The Graduate Center for Career Development has not only a Facebook, but also a Twitter page.  Feel free to “like” us on Facebook under the Babson Graduate Center for Career Development and “follow” us under BabsonGradCCD on Twitter.  To entice you to join your fellow colleagues, we’re launching a contest with some pretty cool prizes.  Check out the posting we just uploaded to our Facebook page, “like” it, and while you’re there, “like” our page.

Here’s what you need to do to be eligible for prizes:

If you “like” the post on Facebook between 12 midnight EST on Monday, 8/22 until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, 9/9, you will be automatically entered to win a $200 American Express gift check that must be used towards a career-related event such as ~

Travel to a Babson Connect event, industry conference, or job interview;

  • Registration fee for a career conference or convention;   OR
  • Annual membership to an industry organization.

In order to retrieve your prize, you will need to provide evidence of the trip, registration fee, or membership fee to a senior staff member of Grad CCD.

For those of you who are already followers of our Facebook page – fear not!   You will also be eligible for a second prize which will be a $50 gift card to Amazon as long as you are an active student.   The benefits of following us on social media include photos from on and off-campus events, national media articles, landing and graduation videos, our weekly newsletter, and ‘shout outs’ to students and alumni.
