10th San Francisco Babson Connect, April 7, 2016: Register Now!

SFBridge

On April 7, 2016 the college will host its 10th Babson Connect event in San Francisco at its west coast campus located at 135 Main Street on the third floor.  Next month’s program will feature Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist as well as Craig Connects as guest speaker.  Mr. Newmark’s presentation will begin around 6:00 and end at 7:00 p.m. followed by open and casual networking between students (both undergraduate and graduate), alumni, faculty, and staff until 8:30 p.m.  During the informal networking session, there will be a number of “featured alums” who have graciously agreed to speak with students and alums about their industries and companies.  We are pleased to welcome alumni from a number of reputable Bay Area firms including Facebook, Cognizant, 500 Startups, Shark Branding, Hertz, Adobe, Fluxx, Equity Risk Partners, Lookout Mobile Security, Gameloft and several others.  In the past, these events have attracted well over 100 individuals who are consistently eager to reconnect and expand their networks.  Although there is no fee for students to attend, alumni are asked to remit a nominal fee of $15 plus a $5 optional gift to the development fund.  When registering, students should use the discount code of SFSTUDENT when registering.

In the past, the college has welcomed several Bay Area luminaries as guest speaker (many of whom are also Babson alums) including James Park from Fitbit, Dick Bolles (author of What Color is Your Parachute?), Dan Levin from Box, Chris Pollino from Genentech, Julie Lewis from Digital Mountain, Nathan Bricklin from Wells Fargo, and Babson College Associate Dean Nan Langowitz.
