Summer Community

Interested in joining an exciting and supportive entrepreneurial cohort as you accelerate your business this summer? Consider applying to The Blank Center’s Summer Community! The Summer Community, which piloted last year, is built around the pillars of community and accountability – both of which are vital to the success of an entrepreneur. This opportunity provides members work space on campus, a great community, and peer-to-peer and expert advising.

Each cohort within the Summer Community will consist of 8-10 businesses lead by graduates and undergraduates at Babson, Olin and Wellesley Colleges, as well as Babson alumni. You will increase each other’s accountability via weekly check-ins and receive guidance from peers who may have relevant experience. Industry experts will also be available for periodic advising and office hours.

The Summer Community consists of entrepreneurs of all stages who have found that other accelerators are not the right fit for them, as well as Summer Venture Program alumni. Whether you are early-stage and working to prove feasibility or already generating revenue, the Summer Community is an excellent way to focus on your business over the summer!

While the Summer Community is only available at Babson’s Wellesley campus this year, Babson’s San Francisco campus is offering space for Summer Co-Working. This is a perfect option if you are looking for work space on the West Coast. Participants will receive access to desk space in a building with classrooms, conference rooms, and a kitchen. Similar to the Summer Community, Summer Co-Working is available to current students at Babson, Olin and Wellesley Colleges (graduate and undergraduate) and Babson alumni.

The application deadline for both the Summer Community in Wellesley and Summer Co-Working in San Francisco is end of day Thursday, April 20. You will be notified of acceptance by Friday, April 28. Both programs run from May 30 through July 28.
