Dan founded Fireman Capital Partners in 2008 and currently focuses on all aspects of the Fund’s investment strategy, execution and portfolio company management. Over the last eight years, Dan has been responsible for raising and investing over $300 million across 12 investments, the total value of which exceeds $1 billion in aggregate today. Dan serves on the boards of United Craft Brews, Surfside Coffee Company, Newton Running and Skip Hop, and previously served on the board of Hudson Clothing prior to its sale to Joe’s Jeans.

Dan also currently serves on the board of and is an advisor to nonprofit and other organizations, including the Board of Overseers at Babson College, Founding Chairman of One Family, Inc., Trustee of The Paul and Phyllis Fireman Foundation, Trustee of The First Tee and the founding partner of Fair Shot. Additionally, Dan is a founder of Windrose Advisors, a multi-family office with over $2 billion in assets under management.

Prior to 2008, Dan was the CEO of Willowbend Development, LLC, where he successfully turned around and ran a portfolio that comprised over $500 million of investor capital invested in complex real estate partnerships, including the Westin Rio Mar (San Juan, PR), J.W. Marriot Star Pass (Tucson, AZ), Liberty National (Jersey City, NJ) and Willowbend Country Club (Mashpee, MA). Prior to leading Willowbend Development, Dan held various sales, strategy and marketing leadership roles at Reebok.

Dan holds a BA from Emory University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
