First Founder Friday at the Blank Center

We meet founders all the time at the Blank Center. Students, alumni, friends of Babson. All of them have a story. Some are funny, some are sad, some should probably never be repeated.

Today we are launching a new series called Founder Fridays. Hosted by the Blank Center, Founder Fridays is where you will get to meet some of the most interesting founders, who will share their ups and downs, their mistakes and celebrations – all with #nofilter. Open and brutally honest, these founders will tell their real deal life experience of creating a startup. Every Friday at 11am you’ll get to meet a new founder and hear their story.

Our first Founder Friday is with Babson undergraduate alum Greg Gomer, class of 2007. Greg is a cofounder of VENTUREAPP – an on demand support platform for startups. Previously he was a cofounder at Streetwise Media, a digital media and events company that owns and operates online tech publications in Austin, Boston, Chicago and DC. The company was acquired by American City Business Journals, a subsidiary of Advance Publications which owns Conde Nast, Reddit and other media holdings. Prior to Streetwise, Greg worked as a systems analyst at Fidelity Investments and is a graduate of Babson College with majors in entrepreneurship and information technology. He is heavily involved in the startup community and is a current advisor to VC firm Flybridge Capital.
