I Can’t Believe It’s Free!

By Abby Vargas: Most college students will probably agree with me when I say that we always welcome free stuff. Free shirts at Reynolds? I’ll be first in line. Free food from the Asian Organization? Sign me up! Free stuff is a nice present and allows for more money in my Lemon Thai budget.

I recently learned about free admission to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) due to a class assignment. The assignment involved going to the MFA to observe the Chinese Art Exhibit and searching for different objects our professor provided in a list. When I first heard about the assignment, I have to admit, I didn’t think it would be all that fun, but after I went I realized I had been missing out!

By the time I had to leave the museum I wished I would’ve arrived earlier to take advantage of more than just the exhibit my professor asked me to look at. I got to take a sneak peak at an exhibit with beautiful instruments and plan on going back soon to finish browsing.
All it takes is a OneCard to open up a new world to get lost in for a few hours at the MFA. Rarely does a OneCard open up such amazing doors, I suggest Babson students take advantage of this opportunity at least once in their Babson career. I promise you won’t regret it!
