Finding People In Unexpected Places
Today I met a VC while grabbing a cup of Coffee at Starbucks. I was venting about some minor set backs that I’ve had recently to the casual stranger while waiting in line. The conversation was very low key and we ended up talking about an idea that one of the BongoBing founders had related to the future of Starbucks and their relationship with smart phones. The VC loved it and gave me some pretty good feedback. I doubt anything would come of it, but the lesson here is that you never know who you’ll find unexpectedly somewhere. Be mindful that the stranger you may be speaking with may be your next investor.
