Bootstrapping is a critical yet largely underdeveloped skill set for women entrepreneurs. Through new research co-authored with my colleague Candy Brush, we learned that women entrepreneurs who take advantage of every financing opportunity, and who finance creatively, are more likely to reach the rapid growth stage in their businesses.
