Corporate vs College life

College and Corporate life are very different. This summer, some similarities arose from the home office aspect of most summer programs – internship and classes. Beyond all aspects of professional development, I believe that my internship also taught me the discipline needed to succeed in the fall. I have realized the importance of a built routine and sticking to it in days where you do not need it.

The hardest part of interning and creating discipline was to live at home with my family. I was not being able to go out with my family because of work responsibilities and sticking to obligations every day. Although I have not prepared for this change before my internship, I believe that my internship prepared me for college improvement, and I am very excited for the upcoming months.
