Wrapping up the Summer

After almost 3 months of internship, I can’t describe how much I grew from June 1st to this day. In my internship, I learned things related to investments, technology, operations and career path in general. I am extremely glad I had the opportunity to come to Sao Paulo. While I am not completely sure of in which area I want to build a solid career, I learned at Geo that I do not have to be and it is better to not limit myself to my degree and current interests. I want to explore areas such as consulting, finance and technology in order to understand what makes me feel fulfilled and professionally happy. I will now come back to Babson motivated and ready to fully explore my interests. The best thing about college is the fact that I still have time to learn and take classes from diverse fields. I also intend to develop an independent research on science to keep involved with my past interests. This summer internship has taught me a lot as I never expected to be involved with operations, nor expected to like it so much. My next college goal then becomes to keep pursuing opportunities in different fields to find something as good as I experienced this summer.

One key to success is demanding more than adequacy, never settling for good enough and always doing a little bit more.
