Industry Spotlight Program
Various Dates (see below)
6 – 8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted)
This program provides an opportunity for multiple employers – by industry – to come together and meet interested students in one night.  Compared to the traditional “info session”, this program allows you to meet a broader pool of candidates who are interested in your industry. Class levels attending vary by event. General registration for this event is $150. Non-Profit/Start-Up participants receive discounted registration.

CAREER CENTER WORKSHOPS/PROGRAMS.

Recruiting Season Boot Camp (Sophomore/Junior/Senior Event)
Wednesday, September 6th / 6-8 p.m.
The Recruiting Boot Camp for is a great way to build your brand on campus with our students, connect with industry specific talent, review resumes, make connections and better prepare students for the recruiting season. Complete the registration form to receive updates as they become available.

Career 101 (First Year/Sophomore Event) 
Friday, November 10th / 1-4 p.m.
Come meet the next generation of hires – our Gen Z’s. Please join us as part of an informative afternoon discussing resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, professionalism, networking, and getting started on internship searching. This career program is a great opportunity to build your brand on campus and start that critical early engagement with first-years and sophomores. Additional details to follow.

Employer Table in Trim
Host a networking table in the lobby of Trim Dining Hall during lunch hours – a high traffic area to further brand your organization and connect with students where they are.

Drop-Ins Visiting Recruiter
Meet and advise students individually, from all class levels and concentrations, during drop-in hours, 1-4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Students will turn to you as an expert to review resumes, cover letters, or do mock interviews. Use this as an opportunity for branding and to meet engaged students. Add a Drop-Ins Visiting Recruiter session to the Employer Table in Trim program to enhance your brand and identify talent!

EXPERIENTIAL ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Externship Program 
Provide first year or sophomore  student(s) with the opportunity to job shadow for up to three days during our school breaks to identify student talent early and establish company awareness, all while providing relevant experience and showcasing your organization.

Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) The MCFE program connects Boston-area organizations with talented Babson students who work as consultants to address a current business challenge. Application deadline to participate in the Spring 2018 is October 1st.

NEW! ALUMNI SPECIFIC ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

  • Resumania! – Friday, September 15th: Kick off Back to Babson weekend with CCD! Think speed dating meets resume reviewing in an informal setting. Meet with current students to share your industry knowledge and give resume feedback. Your guidance and expertise will give undergraduates a competitive advantage as they prepare for the fall recruiting season.
  • SME & Alumni Storytelling – Wednesday, November 1st: Hosted in conjunction with SME Tech faculty to provide an opportunity for students to meet alumni and understand how the use of technology impacts careers, both from an industry and a functional perspective. There is no preparation required- just a few hours of your time to share your story and career journey!
  • Fall Alumni Industry Adviser (AIA) Program – Fridays between September 5th – October 13th: Back by popular demand! Meet one on one with students to review résumés, conduct mock interviews, and share your work and industry experience. For this program, we are seeking alumni in the Boston area to hold on-campus office hours or connect with students via Skype on Fridays this Fall. Details to be determined between you and CCD.
