Becoming a Babson Beaver
It is hard to believe that over four years ago I found out I would be attending Babson College. Telling my dad I just needed to check my email before I would be ready for dinner, I had no idea what would be waiting on the other end of the MyBabson portal. I was such a bundle of nerves I could not even remember my password. After finally making it into the portal, I was thrilled to find my offer of admission. I was so excited to see where this journey would take me.
Looking back on these four years it has been everything I wanted and nothing like anything I would have expected. I have learned more than I thought possible both in and out of the classroom. I have taken a variety of classes, everything from your typical business courses to interesting liberal arts courses. I have made lifelong friends. I have found a job. I actually feel ready to go out into the real world and become an adult, as scary as that sounds. I attribute all of this to the wonderful people here at Babson that have helped me grow into the person I am today.
Wherever your college education takes you, take advantage of the opportunities in front of you. Babson has amazing resources for its students that have helped me make the most of my college experience. I would not change one thing about this amazing journey. Deciding where to go to college may seen like a daunting task, but choosing Babson has been the best decision I have ever made.
