This Monday at 3:00 p.m. EDT, Babson will release Regular Decision results online, accessible through the My Babson portal (please make sure that you know your username and password before you check!).
Last year around this time, I blogged on this very subject and as I reread it, it still rings so true, especially the part about how attached we get to all of you during your 18 month college search. From tours to tweets, interviews to Instagram, essays to emails, you have all taken the opportunity to let us get to know you and your family and for that we thank you.
It is one of the most difficult parts of this job to know that on Monday, many of you will be disappointed by the decision, and may even question why this happened. That is natural, but doesn’t mean you have failed. While we do not have nearly enough beds and classroom space to accommodate all 7500 of those who submitted applications to Babson this year, we do know that you will do great things.
So have a good weekend, get some rest, do your favorite thing and go into Monday with your head held high. You’re almost done.
