Meal Madness Round 1
I am on my way out, but Babson continues to amaze me even as a senior. Before I came here, I wanted to be a chef. That has been my dream since I can remember. And last night, Babson gave me the opportunity to live my dream through the Meal Madness competition. Meal Madness was put on by the Babson Culinary Society and Sodexo. I formed a team with my friends, Wendy Sachs and Kyaw Thant (pictured below). Last night’s challenge was to make the best pizza ever and serve it to the students (secret judges would then vote on our pizzas).
Our selection of specialty pizzas included:
- Crab Rangoon Pizza
- Taco Pizza
- Rose Sausage Pizza
- Olive, Tomato, Spinach and Ricotta Pizza
- Cajun Chicken and Shrimp
- Hawaiian with a Twist (substituted ham with bacon)
- Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
The best part was getting to wear my Chef’s whites (and Sodexo let me keep the hat!) If we make it to the next round we will be competing to make the best sandwich next. Go Team 3!
