My First Few Weeks at PLNDR
In early June I began interning at Karmaloop/PLNDR, the largest online streetwear retailer in the world. The company is based in Boston, right in Back Bay where I went to high school. I have always been interested in streetwear clothing, from supporting other brands to eventually starting one of my own, so you can imagine how eager I was to work at Karmaloop when they asked me to intern there. I knew that not only would I love what I’m doing everyday, but I could also learn priceless tips and gain tons of experience being their marketing intern.
So far this internship has been everything I thought it would be. The environment is great, and being downtown only adds to this. I get to work alongside like-minded individuals whom I learn from every hour, and I am immersed in streetwear culture. I have learned a lot about social media marketing for a large company so far, and I hope I can continue to grow and apply this to my studies, my ventures, and any other opportunity that presents itselfs.
