See You at Preview Day!

At this point in the admission cycle, we are starting to wrap up our campus events for the academic year.  One of our last major events of the spring will be our final Preview Day on Saturday, April 26th.  We typically hold these events in both the fall and spring to provide an opportunity for students and their families to receive a more in-depth look into all of the unique opportunities available here at Babson.  A Preview Day consists of an admission overview from a member of our staff, a presentation by first-year students of their FME businesses, a student and alumni panel, campus tour, and brunch in our dining hall.  We want to end Preview Days on a high note this year so, in order to make the day even more interactive and beneficial for all of you, we have invited members of the Glavin Office of Multicultural and International Education to highlight our unique Babson community.

The term “diversity” is a common buzzword on many college campuses.  But what does diversity really mean? Here at Babson, we believe that diversity encompasses our differences in areas of race, gender, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and religion (just to name a few), while at the same time consists of the similarities between people of different backgrounds.  This is a belief and idea that every member of the Babson community embraces and celebrates during their time here.  Since our community is so central to the Babson experience, this Preview Day will provide an opportunity to further explore and discover what diversity means to our current and prospective students alike.  Come prepared to engage in discussion and learn from those around you – it’s sure to be a great day!
