Sophomore Accounting Externship Leadership Programs

This blog was authored by Molly Tack, Northeast Region Campus Recruiter, Americans Talent Team at professional services firm, Ernst & Young.  Molly is the campus recruiter from the Boston office and lead recruiter for EY’s tax practice and upstate New York market.  Babson is fortunate to have Molly as our lead recruiter and contact.

Now that the fall semester has ended, it’s a great time and opportunity to start planning your spring semester, including spring recruiting! A large portion of the recruiting for public accounting firms takes place in the fall but there are still great opportunities in store during the spring semester!

For sophomore accounting students, recruiting begins in the spring for externship leadership programs.  These externship programs are offered by many of the public accounting firms and are a leadership opportunity for students interested in the accounting field to develop key skills and get an inside scoop into the industry and a particular firm.

Ernst & Young will be recruiting for our externship, the Emerging Leaders Program. The Emerging Leaders Program is a one-of-a-kind interactive learning experience; the EY Emerging Leaders Program will help you sharpen your leadership, teamwork and communication skills. And you’ll learn more about our culture, people and practices while forging relationships with EY employees and fellow students. To be considered for the Emerging Leaders Program, please apply through CCD’s Career Connections website (via Hub).

Wishing all of you a great winter break and a happy, healthy new year! EY looks forward to seeing you all on campus in 2014!
