Undergraduate Blog / Defining Your Babson

The Best Leadership Position Ever

This semester is my first semester as a Peer Mentor ! (WOHOOO) . Peer Mentors serve as orientation leaders , student leaders in First Year Seminar classes and even more than that a support system for first year students. As a new peer mentor, I didn’t know what to expect. I was nervous, excited, scared but mostly excited. As the months have passed , I have gotten to know my mentees and they are all students with excellent character. Each week, I look forward to giving them advice and hearing how much they love Babson. Even more than having a great group of mentees and Faculty advisers , I am lucky to have a great group of fellow peer mentors. I have never been a part of a more supportive group than the Peer Mentor family. Each one has been a support system for me and have made me realized why I love Babson so much. I am very excited to share my journey with you all keep reading to see how everything is going.

Until next time,

Leandra
