Planes, Trains and Passports

..And they’re off. Even though I tried to pretend that Labor Day weekend did not just happen and the buses are not turning into the high school down the street, there is one sure sign of fall I just can’t ignore: travel season has officially begun in the Babson Admission Office. The official kickoff began about an hour ago, when Hannah left for the airport to catch a flight to Atlanta for a week of college fairs. Tommaso leaves tomorrow on a 10 day trip to India, where he will tour Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore (he’s currently trying very hard to wrap up all of those last minute loose ends, like printing out boarding passes and reminding me to blog). The next one to leave will be Adrienne on Monday, as she grabs her sunglasses and flies south to Miami for school visits and interviews.

And me? I hold down the fort for one more week before I begin my own travels in NYC, Toronto, Europe and later Hawaii. Note to my staff: notice that I’m saving the warm locale for after the weather turns in New England. Note to my readers: this territory was given to me-I did not steal it from anyone, I promise.

All told, the Babson admission team will be traveling for 234 days in 26 states and 16 countries between now and November. To see who may be visiting your area, check out the travel map located on our website: http://www.babson.edu/admission/undergraduate/tours-events/Pages/on-the-road.aspx.

Oh and please feel free to visit us at Babson this fall-we will still have plenty of people in Lunder ready to talk to you about Babson. Happy Fall!
